Andi has been doing digital creative work since 1995 and is prepared to back up the date with links. Between 1995 and 2001, Andi provided technology based design services to top tier clients ranging from Fox Television, to Xbox to The Smithsonian, Mandalay Bay and many others in between. In 2001 he decided to turn his passion into a technology startup focused on hospitality services and a digital design agency in 2004.
Following a tour as Creative Director for Deloitte Digital's Seattle office, Andi joined Microsoft as Creative Director for the Communications and People family of products in 2016. Currently focused on effective story-telling, product design, and enablement of experiences that redefine established People concepts for existing and new platforms and devices from phone, to desktop, to Hololens.
We worked closely with the Internet Explorer group at Microsoft to showcase new technology specs and functionality of the IE browser, part of Windows 8 OS. The featured client was Red Bull content and client was the Rampage race, conducted yearly in Utah.
All the riders were equipped with helmet mounted GoPro cameras and GPS enabled locators. This enabled us to geographically locate specific race events like jumps and crashes and allow for marking video streams with timeline markers. Also when the race was conducted, each rider's path was easily marked on the track, allowing for the video stream to be scrubbed in a novel way, from the graphical track data in the Open GL enabled map module.
